Sacred England Trip Logistics 


Accommodation, Meals, Inclusions, Pricing & Payments

Tour accommodations are carefully chosen to provide tour participants with quality accommodations, hospitality, and service at reasonable cost. All breakfasts, one lunch, light snacks and four dinners are included in the price of the English tour. Food is clean & healthy and organic when possible. Tour prices are based on two or more people sharing a room with either double(couple) or twin beds. Every effort will be made to pair tour participants traveling by themselves with a complimentary participant(s). A private room may be available at the stated single-supplement cost. Please refer to the itinerary logistics for included & excluded costs. Your accommodations, meals as described above, transportation pick up and return to Heathrow Airport & all travel in between (less tip for driver), admission fees to all sites, special ceremonies and guest speakers are all included in the price of the tour.

***Please note that our accommodations the first 5 nights mostly has shared rooms (each person will share with 1-3 other people, Sarah will carefully choose) and bathrooms are shared. There are a couple private rooms available but bathrooms are still shared. The accommodations the last 5 nights has people sharing a room with only one other person and these have private en-suite bathrooms. There are a few private rooms available as well. Private rooms are an additional cost (see registration form).   

This is a sacred pilgrimage and the sacredness of our sisterhood is honored. We open ourselves to getting to know each other. The antiquity of these buildings and the smaller spaces lends us to relax our modern spatial needs a bit and open up to appreciate the coziness. If you wish for a private room, contact me ASAP to reserve. 

Payment & Refunds: Deposit is due to hold your place. Deposit is non-refundable and non-transferable (recommend you buy travel insurance). First payment of $2170 is due by January 14th, 2023 and balance of $2170 is due in full by March 14th, 2023. EARLY BIRD discount $100 off until January 14th, 2023 (The discount will be subtracted at the final payment). If the payments are not paid prior to their due date, we reserve the right to regard the reservation as cancelled. Due to the accommodation and transportation deposits that Sarah Wergin is required to make in advance, we incur losses if the space is not resold, given this, our policy on deposits & payments received is as follows:

• Fully refundable (minus the deposit) should you cancel in writing 120 or more days prior to the starting date.

• 50% refundable (minus the deposit) should you cancel in writing 119-90 days prior to the starting date.

• Non-refundable 89 days or less prior to the starting date of the tour.


Airfare

Airfare is responsibility of the participant and it is recommended to not book an airline ticket without authorization from Sarah in case of cancellation of the tour. Sarah reserves the right to cancel the tour if the minimum is not met. Only your deposits and payments paid will be refunded upon cancellation of tour. *Do not book flight until you are given the go ahead from Sarah. 


Climate

While no guarantees can be given, the average September temperatures range in the upper 40’s in evenings to 60’s during the day. The weather is often variable, sometimes changing in the course of a few hours. A bit of rain is probable on any British holiday. We will send you details regarding suitable clothing, footwear and all other suggestions. 


Insurance

Sarah Wergin reserves the right to cancel any tour in which the minimum is not reached, and to alter any aspect of the itinerary should circumstances demand. If the minimum is not reached, your payments & deposit will be fully refunded. For any other circumstances in which the trip is cancelled or you decide to not travel, refunds are given at the rate in payment & refund section, no exceptions. We strongly recommend that participants enroll in personal accident, baggage, and trip cancellation insurance policies available through most travel agencies, one is: www.travelinsured.com, other recommendations will be given in welcome letter. NOTE: Some companies require that you purchase your plan within 2 weeks of making the deposit, so BE ADVISED. Make sure you get informed about all clauses to add in cases due to COVID-19. 


Health and Ability

I am aware that this trip requires walking every day, carrying my own luggage and, in some cases, bending, and sitting on the ground, and I hereby affirm that I accept the inherent risks involved in exploring sites of antiquity, and that I do not have any physical, emotional, or other disability which would create a hazard for myself, my guides, or other tour participants. 


Responsibilities and Terms

Sarah Wergin and or her agents gives notice that all tickets, vouchers, or other issuances for conveyance or accommodation made by them, are made as agents for participants of the sacred sites tour upon the express condition that Sarah Wergin and or her agents are not liable for any accident, injury, damage, loss, delay, or irregularity which may be occasioned either by reason of defect in any vehicle, or through acts or default of any hotel personnel. Sarah Wergin or her agents accepts no responsibility for losses or incidental expenses due to delay or change in schedules, hotel booking irregularities, defaults, sickness, quarantine, pandemics, emergency, weather, strikes, war, or other causes. All such losses are the sole responsibility of the participants. The right is reserved to not accept or retain as a participant any person whose acts or conduct are judged to be detrimental or in conflict with the safety, interest, comfort, harmony, or well-being of the group as a whole. Baggage, as well as all personal items, such as jackets, cameras, purses, or packs are the sole responsibility of the owner. The right of Sarah Wergin or her agents, is reserved to alter or cancel any portion of the trip and to make refund accordingly. Payment, in the form of deposit, or payment, partial or full, shall constitute consent to all terms contained herein.
